Sogol's Story I had to take a coding class in high-school where i learnt very little about c++. I enjoyed that class very much But i couldn't continue learning it due to my major. So now I'm looking forward to continuing learning more about coding. It seems like an interesting thing to pursue.

🙋‍♀️ Sogol's Motivation

I'm looking for a job that doesn't require me to stay out for extra hours and where i can get paid and be financially stable or even migrate some day. Since my father is the only breadwinner in the family, i feel like he shouldn't have to work all by himself; with my mother being a housewife and my sister being too young, i feel like it's my responsibility to at least not add more costs on the table. Coding however looks like a good way to maybe have a second job and since I like doing it I imagine I could get very good at it too.

🤹‍♀️ Sogol's Hobbies

I like to draw and read novels. I'm also learning to play the ukulele (which I would say I'm decent at) and taking online French lessons since i plan on working with the MSF organization one day and they're in need of nurses who can speak French.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
