Sonali's Story I first became interested in coding when I was in high school and took a computer science class as an elective. The idea of creating something from scratch using lines of code intrigued me. I remember the excitement I felt when I wrote my first few lines of code and saw a simple program come to life on the screen. It was like solving a puzzle and seeing the results unfold right in front of me.

I am motivated to learn how to code with SheCodes for a variety of reasons. Firstly, I've always been intrigued by technology and its ability to shape the world around us. As I've observed the role of coding in creating innovative solutions and driving change, I've become increasingly passionate about acquiring this skill myself. Coding, to me, represents the perfect blend of logic and creativity. I'm excited about the opportunity to take abstract ideas and turn them into tangible applications or websites. The idea of being able to build something from scratch and see it come to life is incredibly motivating. Additionally, I see learning how to code as a crucial step towards achieving my career goals.

In my free time, I have a variety of hobbies and activities that bring me joy and fulfillment. One of my passions is sketching and designing; creating designs with different beautiful color shades helps me unwind and express myself creatively. I also love spending time outdoors and exploring nature through hiking. There's something incredibly refreshing about being surrounded by trees and mountains, and it gives me a sense of tranquility.

Sonali's coding training

Sonali has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
