Svitlana 's Story First contact with the coding has happened in the University (Basic and Assembler). I learned Environmental engineering, so the coding was not the main. And it was pretty nice experience. I felt like I could code, but that time I was the fan of Nature. Time has passes, a lot has changed. I am still the fan of Nature, but priority of this love has changed too because of the war and the increased responsibility to family. What do I like in coding? It is logical and structured. Nothing happens in coding because of nothing. Every step leads to something.

🙋‍♀️ Svitlana 's Motivation

My friends from IT recommend me to look on SheCodes, because I began to make first serious steps in IT. IT is mostly new sphere for me so I tried to find mire info and learnt SheCodes to have perfect rates.

🤹‍♀️ Svitlana 's Hobbies

If I have time, I like to walk or go to countryside, because I miss my home, my house with big garden in Ukraine. I like to learn new things, for example, recently I have learnt QA.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
