Sylvia's Story I initially discovered my passion for coding by witnessing the transformative impact of technology in addressing modern challenges. I observed how people were able to tackle a variety of issues through tech solutions and thought, 'Why not be a part of the team that helps in that?'. This deepened my interest in coding and I started learning the basics on my own. I was further motivated to pursue a career in IT, with the goal of making a positive change in society through technology.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
