Tamara's Story When I realized how chill and relaxed look like most of coders I thought, maybe, it's what I need. I met one girl, who is a coder and I liked her independent and free personality. I saw lots of people who is happy being this part of IT sphere. I thought a lot about my place there and decided try coding.

🙋‍♀️ Tamara's Motivation

I would like to find a source of income. IT sounds just great, i'm sure, everyone knows all the advantages of it. It feels like coding always was somewhere close, but I overlooked this path. SheCodes looks like something bigger, than things I tried before, like a fresh start.

🤹‍♀️ Tamara's Hobbies

I'm an aspiring musician - tongue drum player, I took it with me. I also left my Jew's Harp to my boyfriend and our ukulele was left in my best friend’s temporarily (i hope) abandoned house.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
