Tanya's Story About 10 years ago, I had my own website built with WordPress. I was the site administrator and made simple changes in the program code of the pages. Quite recently my son said that he wants to be a programmer. I found a simple programming tutorial for beginners on the Internet and my son and I started to study it.

🙋‍♀️ Tanya's Motivation

I am a speech therapist and child psychologist by profession. I received two higher educations in my country. I am always open to new knowledge and love learning. Now I temporarily live in France. Due to the fact that I do not know French, it is difficult for me to get a job in my specialty. I am raising my son alone, he is 11 years old. I really want to get a profession that would allow me to provide for myself and the child, and also be able to move freely. I believe that my age is not a barrier to gaining new knowledge. I will gladly accept this challenge and be able to get a new interesting profession.

🤹‍♀️ Tanya's Hobbies

I have two channels on YouTube, one channel with culinary recipes, the second with crafts.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
