Thảo Nguyên's Story I think my father is the one who has inspired me to code. He is a type of Mr.Know-all. And that day when my computer was out of order. I was so confused because it was almost my deadline for the final project. Then my father surprised me because, with just a few steps, he could fix it. As a result, I could hand in my assignment on time.

🙋‍♀️ Thảo Nguyên's Motivation

I was born in a small town in a less developing city so that the opportunities to access education are limited. For instance, if I want to learn foreign languages, except for English, I have to go to another city to learn the language I want. So it is clear that education here is not for everyone, especially for students from average or poor families. Then computer science, coding, IT,... are unfamiliar aspects with them. SheCodes has been creating the environment for me as well as other young women to try, test, and have a better understanding of the tech programming industry.

🤹‍♀️ Thảo Nguyên's Hobbies

Most of my time is for studying and volunteering for my youth-led non-profit organization. Besides those activities, I usually watch movies, youtube and go for a walk to exercise. Acquiring new skills, learning new languages are my favorite activities too. Because I know that would make a significant contribution to my career in the future. And when I become more knowledgeable and successful, I can help more children in my hometown and inspire them to overcome all of the disadvantages.

Thảo Nguyên's coding training

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
