Thao's Story I first became interested in coding when I worked on a digital transformation project at my company (an insurance company in Vietnam). The project's objective was to transform the current learning process of insurance agents (classroom-based) to online-based. Since we used a vendor who provided us with a system which we can customize based on our agents' learning needs, we were obliged to do some coding especially HTML and CSS to build the website as per our preferences. This is when I started learning coding by myself. However, due to unstructured syllabus and various challenges of self-study, I ended up unable to perform the coding myself and had to seek help from an external coder.

🙋‍♀️ Thao's Motivation

After leading 2 IT projects at my company, I gradually grew interest in coding. This is because I was amazed by how much the power of technology that could help resolve business issues. Coding, to me, is not just about using the right syntax or formula to make the software run but it is about utilizing the problem-solving logics behind it to tackle real-life issues Being able to understand deeper about the coding myself will vastly contribute to my career development as a potential Project manager which I am currently training for. A deeper understanding about the codes will enhance my technical capabilities and improve my communication with the developer teams.

During my free time, I do paintings for fun. Most of my paintings are made with acrylic colors and they depict various landscapes that I had previously come across. Besides, I am also a big fan of British novels, especially those written by Jane Austen.

Thao's coding training
