How was it possible for someone to type in a search query and get results in milliseconds? Or for an app to track my fitness progress and provide tailored recommendations? This curiosity was the spark. During school, I loved problem-solving and logical challenges. While I hadn't connected these interests to coding yet, I realized that the feeling of satisfaction I got from solving a complex math problem was similar to what some of my peers described when they cracked a code. It wasn't until a friend of mine shared a project they built during a weekend hackathon that I saw the tangible results of coding: they'd created a simple game, but it was their game. Music: I'm always plugged into my headphones. From pop hits to indie gems, music keeps my mood upbeat. Sometimes, I try my hand at creating playlists or even mixing tracks. Hanging Out with Friends: Whether it's chilling at the local cafe, having movie nights, or just goofing around in the park, spending time with my squad is always fun. Binge-Watching Series: I've lost weekends diving into series on Netflix or other streaming platforms. Recommendations? Always welcome! Social Media: Scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, or whatever's trending, keeps me updated. Occasionally, I post, but mostly, I'm lurking and laughing at memes. Sports: Not professionally, but I enjoy a good game of basketball or rugby with friends. It's less about the score and more about having a great time. Gaming: Whether it's on my console or smartphone, gaming is a great escape. Competing with friends online is always a blast! Reading: Not always the heavy stuff. She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
