Themedi's Story I became interested in coding when i saw a lot of people on social media platforms such as TikTok advocating or encouraging people to learn coding or web development as it offers a lot of career opportunities and one can learn at their own pace but they need to be dedicated and focused to complete the course.

I want to learn coding because it opens up a lot of career opportunities and it is a skill that can be applied across industries and allows for remote job opportunities. I also want to learn coding because according to research there is a huge gap between men and women in STEM field so it is also a matter of women empowerment to me.

I read books and articles for fun. I also like to take walks, they help when it comes to refreshing one's mind.

Themedi's coding training

Themedi has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
