tinotenda's Story During ICT lessons we learned how to create our own websites and I have been hooked ever since! I found it so amazing how something so complex and sophisticated could be so easy to create and understand.

🙋‍♀️ tinotenda's Motivation

I am interested in gaining valuable skills in the digital age. By embarking on this coding journey, participants can unlock a world of exciting career opportunities, as coding has become an essential skill in today's job market. I feel like coding empowers individuals to bring their creative ideas to life, enabling them to build websites (I have been learning how to do this since grade school). It fosters problem-solving abilities and critical thinking, equipping learners with the tools to tackle complex challenges. Ultimately, the motivation to learn coding with SheCodes stems from a desire for personal growth, professional development, and the chance to be part of a dynamic and innovative community.

🤹‍♀️ tinotenda's Hobbies

I enjoy reading about coding and learning ICT. I also enjoy watching videos on improving myself (motivational videos). I love watching a series called Scandal because of a character called Hawk. He does all the hacking and tracking in the show. He is basically the tech guru. He creates software and stuff like that.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
