Tonnia's Story My interest in coding originates from the idea of empowering creativity through technology. Seeing the impact of coding in various fields, from creating apps to solving real-world problems, made me want to be a part of that transformative process and the thought of building something meaningful that will create an impact is what got me interested in learning to code.

🙋‍♀️ Tonnia's Motivation

It is exciting to create programs that can make things happen in the digital world. I am thrilled with the idea of turning a blank screen into something functional and impactful. There is also a certain thrill in solving problems and building things from scratch. It's like solving puzzles, but with the added bonus of creating something useful at the end.

🤹‍♀️ Tonnia's Hobbies

I enjoy reading a good book, exploring new music across different genres and also enjoy doing research on the different emerging technological trends. I also like to stay active, whether it's hitting the gym, or just taking a stroll to enjoy the marvelous outdoors

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
