Tshepang 's Story My uncle is a programmer, I would watch him work from home and although his work seemed difficult, I was intrigued to want to learn. Overtime I did my research how to build a website and got familiar with the basics on how to do so, I am yet to learn on how to make one user friendly.

🙋‍♀️ Tshepang 's Motivation

I was inspired by the ladies on social media. The drive and confidence they have after undergoing the SheCodes program is truly remarkable. I aspire to become one of them, to one day build something that will somewhat be an inspiration or literally help an individual in any kind of way. Though I studied Information Technology and could not finish due to financial constraints, coding became more interesting to learn and want to build projects. It takes hard work, dedication. discipline and a lot of patience to get an expert level but journey is where you learn rather than a fast pace to the final destination.

🤹‍♀️ Tshepang 's Hobbies

read (non-fictio, gym, practice coding, DIY small home projects.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
