Valentina's Story I used to be an English Language Teaching student but then I realized it wasn't my thing. I chose to major in software engineering blindly without realizing I would end up loving it. There are a lot of areas to explore and never get tired of it.

I'm a software engineering student who's in her 4th year and currently doing a QA internship at a bank. I'm also working on a capstone project so I would like to reinforce my programming skills to design and develop apps and websites.

I like to learn languages, read, play videogames with my friends and alone, watch TV shows and movies, and spend time with my cats.

Valentina's coding training

Valentina has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
