Valerie's Story When I saw how technology might simplify procedures and solve difficult problems, I got interested in coding. As a logistics officer, I frequently faced problems that could have been solved more quickly with code, which piqued my interest in learning more about it.

I consider learning to code with SheCodes to be a logical progression of my interests and skill set, so I'm pleased about it. I've honed my analytical and problem-solving talents as a logistics officer, and I think learning to code will help me apply these abilities to new and creative issues. Coding strikes me as a very potent instrument for fostering efficiency, and I'm particularly intrigued to the idea of developing effective systems and solutions. In addition, technology and its capacity to revolutionize entire industries have always captivated me. For me, learning to code offers an opportunity to combine my love of problem-solving with the fast-paced computer industry, rather than merely changing careers. I'm excited to join this active community and to to explore how I can contribute to projects that have a real impact.

I enjoy responding to this question since it allows me to discuss my interests. Dancing is one of my strengths and a great way to express myself; thus, it plays a huge role in my life. I also enjoy travelling. Its hard to choose between beaches and nature reserves because both have unique experiences.

Valerie's coding training

Valerie has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
