Valeriia's Story I first became interested in coding when I was still in high school in computer science classes. I really liked the topic and wanted to get involved with this topic in the future. With this thought I went to the university which teaches coding. But because of the war I didn't have a chance to study coding at university.

🙋‍♀️ Valeriia's Motivation

My motivation is this: Since my university was destroyed because of the war, I need to learn something with which I can earn money, "grow up," and survive. I also want to help my country for good. I want to learn something new!

My hobby is painting. I graduated from art school. I really like to draw. I also have an interest in photography. I like to take pictures of nature, animals and everyday life of people. I also have a passion for video games.

Valeriia's coding training

Valeriia has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
