Vuyokazi's Story At first when introduced to programming I was so overwhelmed as it was not my strong point on the get go. However, I was fascinated by the fact that this is how websites and apps are built. My interests were then sparked after a few practical tasks in class and a school project that my Team and I did on our third year.

🙋‍♀️ Vuyokazi's Motivation

What motivated me to learn how to code with SheCodes is my interest in software engineering. I have an Hons Degree in BCom IS and I would like to grow my skill set, improve analytical thinking, learn more about coding and possibly become a back end developer.

🤹‍♀️ Vuyokazi's Hobbies

I am an indoor person I enjoy a good book, learning how to cook foreign dishes via Youtube videos and I like dancing even though I'm bad at it.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
