Wendy's Story I started my tech journey last year, when I enrolled for a cloud practitioner course and when I started getting serious, doing research I realized coding is what I want to do because it's interesting. Coding requires one to be inquisitive but also to think which is what I find fun because I always want to come up with solutions.

I'm a young women from a developing country, and although it's said to be best to go to varsity, that environment doesn't really set you up for the real world. I feel with Shecodes, that's exactly what I'll get, the skill set required to make it in the tech industry. And that they are pro women cementing themselves in the tech world means a lot to me since I recently started my journey in the same industry.

I like participating in outdoor activities, I like researching stuff and learning things online. I love reading books as well as visiting art galleries and I also like drawing.

Wendy's coding training

Wendy has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
