Xena Jane's Story My interest in coding started when I was in high school. Back then, we had an IT subject, and that was when I first got introduced to HTML. Clicking on a highlighted text and being redirected to another page seemed impressive at the time, and knowing that I could do so much more was quite exciting.

🙋‍♀️ Xena Jane's Motivation

I have always been intimidated when I hear the word "code" because it sounds complex. My motivation for learning to code is to prove to myself that I can do it too, and if I continue on this career path, I will be able to provide a better life for my family. By learning to code, I can grow my skill set.

🤹‍♀️ Xena Jane's Hobbies

I like to watch movies and random videos on social media. I enjoy taking walks and eating out alone every once in a while. I also like to travel whenever I am able.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
