Xuan's Story I was hired as a project manager and in charge of bioinformatics. I want to code to understand my colleagues better. I think coding and big data is the future of work, and knowing them will give me advantages in the future. I have found coding interesting from early on, but now I find learning them critical.

I want to know more coding language(s) for my job. I have learned some basic R and Python from university but I do not put them in practice that often yet, so I'm not proficient. I hope that through SheCodes, I would tackle more case studies with like-minded peers, and thus motivated to learn more.

I like boxing and reading books. Boxing keeps me physically healthy, while reading keeps me mentally healthy.

Xuan's coding training

Xuan has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
