Yana's Story During computer science classes at school, I was first introduced to working with computers, more than just playing games. After graduating from school, I started to get interested in the IT field. I tried my hand at HR. But I realized that I was more interested in another industry. During the war, to distract myself, I studied various information about IT fields, and I became interested in coding. I try to study on my own with the free lessons I can find. But I feel that I really lack structured knowledge.

🙋‍♀️ Yana's Motivation

My motivation is to develop myself as a future IT specialist. First of all, I want to help myself become a professional in the IT I like. And also to be able to be involved in innovations in my country in the future. Also, the skills and education would allow me to help my mother financially, who would be able to be financially independent and not be afraid of the future

🤹‍♀️ Yana's Hobbies

My hobbies are computer science, dancing, reading books, traveling, training with my dog

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
