Yana's Story Every third person I meet in my life is somewhat connected to IT. I have many friends and acquaintances who work as programmers and I was always interested in becoming a part of their professional circle and finally understanding what they’re talking about. First I studied vary basic coding at school, however, now I wouldn’t recreate anything of what they taught us. I strong at languages, persistent and I believe that coding can become my other strong part.

SheCodes is a powerful tool for all the women around the world to get education, learn coding and first of all prove ourselves that we’re not weaker or less worthy than men. SheCodes can help more and more ladies become professionals, obtain a good job and gain respect in the work field. Moreover SheCodes seemed to me to be an organization with pure intentions that does not focus on making money but on providing real help and setting the balance in the world.

I love studying languages, singing songs when no one can hear me and watching 2000s rom coms. Not that we are not allowed to walk across the city I decided to dedicate this time to gardening and grow basil, parsley, dill and spring onion on my windowsill.

Yana's coding training

Yana has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
