Yulia's Story In my previous job in HR, I had to deal with internal HR systems frequently. Despite their complexity, I enjoyed learning how they worked and comprehending their logic. I considered trying to learn coding once.

🙋‍♀️ Yulia's Motivation

Code is everywhere, and it's fascinating. I'm eager to learn at least the basics to understand its nature. I am currently on maternity leave and raising my 21-month-old child. I think it’s a good chance for me to learn something new. I worked as an HR Business Partner with an IT company before taking maternity leave. I believe that this knowledge will be beneficial in my HR career, as well as inspire me to change my path.

🤹‍♀️ Yulia's Hobbies

My hobby is my little son right now :) I like dancing, and I dedicated many years to Ukrainian folk dancing. I tried different styles, including hip hop and jazz. My recent hobby is pole dancing.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
