Yuliia's Story About two years ago, my friend and I tried to create an online store. My friend is a programmer and a mother of three children. Actually, she showed me that this path is possible for me. After that, even before the war, I began to look for opportunities to combine motherhood and development in a new area. The boys are older now so I have more development opportunities for me.

🙋‍♀️ Yuliia's Motivation

1. I have a higher technical education - an electronic systems engineer. A year ago, I entered the offline Full Stack JavaScript Developer course, I studied quite successfully. But because of the war, I didn't finish my studies. 2. Now I am a refugee with two children in a foreign country and I do not want to go to a low-skilled job. I think it will be bad for me and for the children.

🤹‍♀️ Yuliia's Hobbies

If hobby is that takes a lot of time, but not the main job. In this case- it's my sons 9 and 12- years-old studying, training and etc. For my fun I like to joke and those who jokes. I like people who laugh a lot and loud.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
