Due to the recent events, I have realized that the modern world demands proactivity and flexibility. For the longest time, I felt extremely anxious and worried about my future and what career path I should take. I had to pick wisely because the only way I can achieve a comfortable and financially stable life is through hard work and education. Therefore, I consider finding SheCodes a sign from the universe to take risks and try something new. It is important for me to prove myself wrong and show that despite the odds and stereotypes I can do anything I put my mind to. This field is mostly a male-dominated one and it makes me so happy to see that your foundation cares so much about women getting access to education and high-paying careers. I strive to become a skilled specialist that will be able to begin a new and exciting career. In addition, I like the fact that I will be able to work from anywhere remotely, so no matter what is happening in the world (like the war in Ukraine) I will be able to provide for my loved ones and myself. I want to challenge myself and improve in all ways possible. New knowledge and experience can never hurt, right? The world is changing and moving at a quick pace, and I want to be able to catch up and move accordingly.
