Yuliya's Story I was always interested, but I used to think that I'm not smart enough to pursue this career. I completed couple of courses on Java development on Coursera platform and understood that programming is even more interesting than I used to think and that step by step I can learn it.

🙋‍♀️ Yuliya's Motivation

I always dreamed about switching to web-development, it seems like a developing and challenging industry. Also now, when Ukrainian infrastructure is badly damaged by Russian bombs, IT is one of the business spheres that is able to support our economy. I'm a non-combatant, but at least I can help my country as a working person, paying taxes.

🤹‍♀️ Yuliya's Hobbies

I used to have a lot of hobbies before the war. Together with my husband we were involved into LARP (live action role playing) and some cosplay events. I love physical activites, so I practiced dancing, yoga and even MMA for 2 years. After the war started I'm simply not able to get positive emotions from any hobby or entertainment, so I work, look after my son, do house chores and that's all. I have time and ability to learn.

Yuliya's coding training
