Zakithi's Story I first became interested in coding when I saw a lot of black women talking about it on social media it piqued my interest and I did more research on it and was then interested.

As a 2e year old South African woman, from a single paeent household,learning coding with She Codes can offer many benefits for me such as aquiring job skills yhat will help me get a careee to offer a better life for my younger siblings. Coding has become an important skill in today’s world, and learning it can open up many new and exciting opportunities. With She Codes, I can learn coding skills in a safe and supportive environment, and build your confidence in a field which is often seen as intimidating. She Codes also provides access to valuable resources and industry mentors which can help you to progress further in your coding career. With She Codes, you can also make valuable connections with other women in the tech industry, enabling you to network and find potential job opportunities. Learning coding with She Codes is an invaluable resource for young women who are looking to expand their technical skills and build a successful career. Learning to code with She Codes can be very beneficial for me as a South African woman of 24 years old.

Zakithi's coding training

Zakithi has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
