Zama's Story My interest in coding began when I watched an interview on Life Reset with Boni on YouTube. The interview featured a woman who learned to code and became a database administrator without a formal degree. She explained how she used free resources available on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and others to gain the necessary skills.

🙋‍♀️ Zama's Motivation

I am eager to enter the tech industry, especially given South Africa's high unemployment rate. I am passionate about sharing my ideas with others, and learning to code will enable me to create my own blogging websites to express and share those ideas effectively.

🤹‍♀️ Zama's Hobbies

I enjoy watching educational podcasts and exploring information on a variety of random topics. Learning something new always excites me, and I find it fun to dive into subjects that spark my curiosity.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
