Zamabhele's Story My journey into the world of coding began with a simple curiosity that gradually evolved into a passionate pursuit. Growing up in a non tech-savvy household, I was always even though i had little to no access to computers, was intrigued by computers and technology. I would spend countless hours at the library researching about programming and exploring the endless possibilities of the digital realm. As i continue to delve deeper into my fascination, I discovered the power of coding to create, innovate, and solve problems. I am captivated by the idea of turning lines of code into functional programs and websites that could impact people's lives. Inspired by the endless opportunities in the tech industry, i decided to take my interest in coding to the next level. I am currently enrolled in a computer science course, at the University of Western Cape, South Africa. My passion for coding continues to grow stronger. For me, coding isn't just a skill; it's a creative outlet, a means of self-expression, and a gateway to endless possibilities in the digital world.

My interest in learning to code with SheCodes stems from a desire for career advancement and personal growth. Even though i am student , i understands the increasing importance of digital skills in today's job market. I see coding as a valuable asset that can complement my existing skill set and open up new opportunities in my learning path. Moreover, I am drawn to SheCodes' reputation for providing accessible and comprehensive coding education tailored for beginners. The structured curriculum, hands-on projects, and supportive community offered by SheCodes resonates with me, who values practical learning experiences and collaborative environments. Additionally, SheCodes emphasis on empowering women in tech aligns with my values, inspiring me to take the leap into coding with confidence. With SheCodes, i see not only a pathway to acquiring valuable technical skills but also a platform for personal and professional development that can propel me towards my goals.

Outside of school, I find joy and fulfillment in various hobbies. I have a deep passion for learning languages; every day, I take an hour or two to learn and research a particular culture to know the history and foundation of the language, which is currently Spanish. I find solace in learning about the different cultures outside my bounds. Taking a late-night walk allows me to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of my daily life as a student, immersing myself in the tranquility of nature. Additionally, I discovered that I love reading books, with a diverse collection of books spanning various genres. I value the escapism and knowledge that reading provides. I also enjoy playing chess; it allows me to think outside the box. My hobbies serve as outlets for relaxation, creativity, and personal growth, enriching my life in countless ways.

Zamabhele's coding training

Zamabhele has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
