Zinhle's Story To be honest, I only really discovered coding in my first year of university. I was studying tourism, but after 2 years I realised that this isn’t for me. Then, a friend introduced me to SheCodes. I started doing my research about it, and I was hooked. I’m ready for the journey ahead and I'm excited to learn more and see where coding takes me.

I'm excited to start my coding journey with SheCodes because I’m passionate about learning new skills and empowering myself with technology. As a 19 year old girl (turning 20) in South Africa, I've always been fascinated by the endless possibilities that coding offers, from creating innovative solutions to making a meaningful impact. I'm looking to gaining confidence and learning new skills and ultimately pursuing a career in tech. And I believe I can do it with SheCodes'. The supportive community and guidance makes me ready to take the first step towards unlocking my full potential and possibly becoming a proficient coder.

🤹‍♀️ Zinhle's Hobbies

I play netball and little hockey. I also love writing, mostly poetry, and I write songs for fun. I have recently taken a liking to painting and crafts.

Zinhle's coding training

Zinhle has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
