Ziyanda's Story My love with technology and my desire to learn how to make tools and experiences that people may use and enjoy initially piqued my interest in coding as a novice. The countless opportunities that coding provided, from building software to designing websites to making mobile apps, motivated me. I came to see that developing my coding skills would enable me to make a significant contribution to the expanding digital world. I entered the field of coding for that reason, and I haven't turned back since!

"I want to learn more about the technical side of web development and programming, therefore I'm learning how to code with SheCodes. Having worked in the coding industry for a while, I think this platform will give me the tools and assistance I need to advance my abilities. SheCodes' hands-on, project-based methodology is what really appeals to me since it will make it possible for me to use what I learn in a meaningful and entertaining way. I'm eager to challenge myself to grow as a person and learn from seasoned experts."

I'm a self-development enthusiast that enjoys taking on challenges and learning new things in my hobbies. Among my interests are: 1. Reading: I discover that reading about a variety of subjects broadens my knowledge and improves my comprehension of the world. 2. Writing: I think that expressing myself in writing, whether it be through journaling or creative writing, keeps me in touch with my feelings and ideas. 3. Trying out new recipes: I love to express my creativity via cooking and experimenting with flavours and ingredients, not to mention the amazing cuisine I get to consume!

Ziyanda's coding training

Ziyanda has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
