Zorie's Story I first encountered programming in high school when I was 15 years old. The teacher told us the basic concepts of HTML. We recorded various elements in a Notepad and then displayed them as an html page. As far as I remember, the last task was to create a one-page site. Back then I liked this topic so much that I decided not to stop there and create a 5-page website. Surely it was the simplest site, but when I created it, I experienced some indescribable sensations. However, after that I got stuck in the routine of school assignments and never returned to programming.

🙋‍♀️ Zorie's Motivation

In Ukraine, the IT industry continues to develop rapidly and I want to become an integral part of what is happening. After all the events that have happened and continue to happen since the beginning of the war, I realized that now is the time to start life from scratch and do what will bring pleasure and benefit to our country.

Sports (I have been attending karate classes since childhood), music (once upon a time I played the piano), reading, language learning.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
